Student retention, paid forward

Persistence pays.

InTuition Scholars turns a thirty-second weekly check-in into micro-scholarship dollars that build toward tuition — so students stay engaged, feel seen, and stay enrolled all the way to graduation.

Built for scholarship offices, retention teams, and the students they champion.

How it works

A small habit with compounding returns.

No essays, no hoops, no black box. One weekly moment of engagement, one visible reward — and a term-long record of who is thriving and who needs a hand.

Enroll your cohorts

Import scholars from a CSV or add them by hand, set the award per check-in, and cap each cohort’s budget for the term.

Students check in weekly

One prompt, three answers — I’m okay, I have a question, I need assistance. It takes less time than a coffee order.

Dollars build toward tuition

Every check-in earns a micro-scholarship award that accumulates in a live balance — real money, applied toward their tuition.

The platform

Two sides. One outcome: students who stay.

Universities run the program from a retention console; students carry it in their pocket. Every check-in feeds both.

For universities

The command center for retention teams

  • Retention analytics

See engagement cohort by cohort and catch the quiet fade-out weeks before it becomes a withdrawal.

  • Cohort budget controls

Set award amounts, per-student caps, and term budgets — the ledger reconciles every dollar.

  • Announcements & notifications

Reach one cohort or a whole campus by push and email, scheduled ahead or sent on the spot.

  • Support ticketing

“I need assistance” becomes a routed, trackable ticket for your staff — not an unread inbox.

  • CSV roster import

Bring in an entire incoming class in minutes. No SIS integration required to get started.

For students

A quiet weekly ritual that adds up

  • The weekly check-in

Three answers, under thirty seconds, right on their phone. A habit that fits between classes.

  • Live reward balance

Every award lands in a running balance they can watch grow toward next term’s tuition.

  • Graduation countdown

A visible finish line — semesters left, dollars earned, momentum kept in plain sight.

  • Help one tap away

Questions and assistance requests go straight to real staff — no hunting for the right office.

Retention programs fail when they ask too much. We ask for thirty seconds.

Questions

Asked and answered.

The questions scholarship and retention teams ask us first — before budgets, before rollouts.

Awards come from your institution’s existing scholarship or retention budget. You decide the dollar amount each check-in earns, set per-student caps, and give every cohort a budget ceiling for the term. The reward ledger records each award and disbursement, so finance always has a clean, reconcilable trail.

InTuition Scholars is built to support your FERPA obligations. Each university’s data is isolated in its own tenant scope, staff access is governed by role-based permissions, accounts support multi-factor authentication, and data is encrypted in transit. We never sell student data or share it across institutions.

Once a week, the mobile app asks a single question with three answers: “I’m okay,” “I have a question,” or “I need assistance.” Choosing either of the last two opens a conversation with your staff. Every completed check-in earns the student’s micro-scholarship award for that week.

A retention console: check-in completion by cohort, assistance requests as they arrive, award spend against each budget, and trends over the term. Staff can send announcements by push and email, work support tickets, and export data when they need it elsewhere.

Each cohort carries its own budget: the award size per check-in, an optional cap per student, and a ceiling for the term. Spend is tracked in real time against the ceiling, and anything unspent simply stays in your budget — the platform never obligates a dollar you didn’t plan.

A roster and a budget. Import students by CSV, set the award schedule, and invite your first cohort — no SIS integration is required to start. When you’re ready to go deeper, exports and imports keep your systems in step.
